CogiGame: A Novel EEG-VR Platform for Upper-Limb Stroke Rehabilitation

Upper-limb stroke rehabilitation often struggles with low patient engagement and limited functional recovery. CogiGame, an innovative platform integrating electroencephalogram (EEG) decoding and virtual reality (VR) gamification, aims to overcome these challenges by motivating upper-limb motor imagery exercises. We summarise findings from preclinical testing with stroke survivors and introduce an upcoming clinical trial to assess the platform’s feasibility in clinical settings.
